“I did not set out to be a therapist. Looking back, though, I can see how I got here. I have always been fascinated by human stories - the struggle, the survival, and the diversity of the human experience. I believe we each have a story both of struggle and survival.”

My lived experiences* include:

Chronic illness
Endometriosis/Adenomyosis/PCOS
Neurodivergence (ADHD/OCD)
Complex trauma
Generational trauma
Medical trauma

Addicted family system
Living in a fat body

*Why do I share these things? Lived experience is important when sharing the most intimate details of your life. We don’t have to share lived experiences for me to be helpful to you, and I will never know what it is like to be you, but some people feel more comfortable working with a therapist who shares some of these things.

Hey, y’all. My name is Lindsey and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. Originally from Memphis, I currently live in Orlando and offer mental health services and consulting to adults, families, and organizations in both states.

This was never the plan. I changed majors four times in college - theatre, anthropology, political science, and finally business communications. After a career in non-profit marketing and public relations then corporate sales, I packed everything I owned into my old Saturn Aura and moved to Orlando for grad school with only $2,000 in savings and a heart for something “more”. That was 11 years ago, and I don’t regret a moment of it.

I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Memphis will always be my heart language. After living in Charleston, South Carolina and Berkeley, California, I landed in Orlando, Florida where I started my career in mental health. I also met and married my husband here. I became a mental health therapist because therapy saved and changed my life. I would not be here today without the care of some incredible people I have met along the way.

Now I get to do what I love, and continue learning every day. I did not set out to be a therapist. Looking back, I can see how I got here. I have always been fascinated by human stories - the struggle, the survival, and the diversity of the human experience. I believe we each have a story of both struggle and survival, and everyone’s story can use some healing.

As a person of faith, I am also a person of hope. While healing looks different for each person, I cling to the hope that healing is possible for everyone.

Are you ready to get started?
